Peter Paul Damico Obituary (1930

Damico, Pete age 81 of Dayton, passed away March 17, 2012 after a long & courageous battle with colon cancer. Born April 16, 1930 in Dayton, a son of the late Domenick & Louis Damico. He retired after 45 yrs. of service with GM. He also was employed by the Kettering School Board for 41 years as a beloved school bus driver. He was also preceded in death by a son David, brother Robert & grandson Jason. He lived a full & rewarding life & leaves behind to cherich his memory his loving wife of 61 years, Virginia Robinson Damico, sons Steve (Janet), Don (Bonnie) & Larry (Barbara) Damico, daughters Kim Hammond, Brenda Hart & Jerry Ward, Mary Damico & Steve Butterfield & Cathy Damico: twelve grandchildren: Angela, Annica, Marcus, Jessica, Danielle, Sherry, Corey, Chelsea, Olivia, Lillian, Matthew & Michael: 11 great grandchildren Kevin, Domenick, Kylie, Zachery, Dakota, Shelby, Melia, Mason, Marco, David & Cameron: sister & brother-in-law Rosie (Damico) Carmichael & husband Tucker & several nieces, nephews & cousins. Family will receive friends Tuesday, March 20, 2012 from 6 to 8 PM at the Schlientz & Moore Funeral Home, 1632 Wayne Ave. Dayton, OH with funeral services Wednesday at 11 AM from the Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Trissel Cemetery. Special thanks to Kettering Home Health Care & Maleka, Dr. Safa & staff, Hospice of Dayton & Tammy Bell, Dr Kumar & Dr Martinez and staff for their loving care.
