Janae L. Murray Obituary (1965 - 2020)

Mrs. Janae Leigh Murray (Gentry), age 54 of Huber Heights, OH, entered eternal life on Friday, January 10th, 2020 after a lengthy illness. She was born on June 22, 1965 in Bakersfield, CA to Kenneth and Janet (McIlvanie) Gentry, and graduated from Mountain Home Christian Academy in Mountain Home, ID. Janae married David Murray (USAF) in Mountain Home, ID on July 7, 1984. As a military spouse, Janae welcomed the opportunity to travel throughout the US and Germany. Janae is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Gentry. She is survived by her mother, Janet Gentry, of Chandler, AZ; husband David Murray of Dayton; son Samuel Mark (Jordan); daughter Rebekah Leigh; brother Eric (Gwyndolynn) Gentry, nephew Ryan Gentry, and niece Kelly Gentry all of Chandler, AZ. A strong Christian, Janae was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Vandalia, OH. Janae will be remembered by her family and friends for her unwavering faith, fighting spirit, fierce determination, and continuous positivity. The family will receive friends and relatives on Friday afternoon, January 18th from 1:00-1:30 at Fellowship Baptist Church, 1475 Ronald St., Vandalia, OH. immediately followed by a funeral service.
