Sarah Ashley Quinn Obituary (1987 - 2023)

QUINN, Sarah Ashley -age 35, passed away unexpectedly on March 28th, 2023. Sarah was born on June 11th, 1987, to Robin Ridout, who also died unexpectedly at age 17. Sarah was 2 months old and was cared for by her grandma until at 6 months when she was adopted into the Quinn Family, including her aunt Roxanna and uncle Frank, who immediately became Mom and Dad, and siblings Amanda, Tyler, and two years later, Kelsey. Sarah was a lovely child. Sweet, quirky, highly intelligent, loving and caring; she was homeschooled alongside her siblings and spent hours reading, creating K'nex cities, and playing with her cats. She once poured over, slept with and finished a 4th grade Math textbook in two weeks - at age 5. Sarah had an adventurous spirit; at age 9 flew to Cape Canaveral and back on her own to attend a week of U.S. Space Camp. As an older teen, she went on several missions trips, including to Mexico. She had a number of unusual talents, including the ability to calculate how many vowels were present in a conversation within seconds of being spoken. Sarah's educational aspirations led her to obtaining two associates degrees, and coming within one semester of receiving her Bachelor's. She spent many hours tutoring Math students at Wright State University, where she had attended. Sarah wrestled in her adult years with addiction, which sadly kept her from achieving her lifelong dream of being a Math Professor, and ultimately took her from her heartbroken family. Sarah loved and leaves behind her 5 yr. old son, Robin, her nieces and nephews, Audrey, Kendall, Rowan, Gemma and Phoebe, her sisters, Amanda and Kelsey, her brother, Tyler and sister-in-law Katie, her parents, Frank & Roxanna, loving aunts, Randi, Mary, Diane, Connie and Deb, caring uncles, Mike, Rod, Rick, Bob and great uncle Craig, many cousins, and her special grandma, Bobbie. We believe Sarah is safe in the arms of Jesus according to her profession of faith, and is joyfully reunited to her mother, Robin.A Memorial Gathering is scheduled for Friday, April 21st.
