Kermit Slusher Obituary (1955 - 2023)

SLUSHER, Kermit -age 67 of Dayton, OH passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at Miami Valley Hospital. Kermit was a pillar of his beloved community. He enjoyed helping others and "popping a cold Busch beer" as well as watching sports. Kermit loved spending time with his wife and children as well as grandchildren. He was born to the late Roy & Nola Slusher (nee Morgan). He was survived by his beautiful and loving wife of 50 wonderful years - Carol Sue Slusher (nee Miller). He is also survived by his four children Tonya (Reece), Brenda (Tony), Timothy, and Kimberly (Danny). Kermit was also survived by his nine grandchildren - Alexis, Frankie, Austin, Mercedes, Chelby, Desarie, Destiny, JR, and Boon, as well as five great grandchildren - TJ, Taelyn, Tanner, Liam, and another on the way - Damien Mathew Fetters, one brother - Cephus, and three sisters - Marty, Ada and Regina. Kermit will be sincerely missed by every soul he has impacted in his life. Visitation calling hours will be from 5-6PM, with a funeral service following at 6PM, with Pastor Darnell Johnson, at Schlientz & Moore Funeral Home.
