Amisi Pelo Obituary (1986 - 2021)

Amisi Pelo, age 34 of Dayton, passed away surrounded by loved ones on April 7, 2021 after a battle with cancer. He was born in the Congo and immigrated to the United States in 2013. He worked for Lion's Group in Vandalia for many years. Amisi was a talented singer and a founding member of Ujumbe Free Methodist Church. He was a loving, kind, and compassionate husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Amisi leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Helena Nondo; father, Lucelo Lukendu Bonga Emmanuel; mother, Lea Amisi; daughter, Lea Amisi; siblings, Alonda Lucelu and Joseph Lucelu; and many other loving relatives and friends. A service will be held at Ujumbe Free Methodist Church (2228 East Third St. Dayton, Ohio 45403) on Saturday, April 17, 2021 from 9:00am - 12pm. Burial to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Schlientz and Moore Funeral Home to assist with funeral arrangements.
